I ordered some new bamboo shades for the dining room window, and they were wrapped in bubble wrap. Needless to say, my ears are now ringing.....

labor day weekend at the last fling

We went to the Last Fling in Naperville this weekend - a huge carnival, lots of rides and games, tons of yummy food, and tons of people! This is becoming an annual event for us and is a great way to celebrate those final days of summer. The kids had a great time (as always) and J is already asking when we can go back!

We had such a great time and the weather was perfect. I think this completes our carnival/fair circuit for this year - now we need to rest up for next summer!!
